Macon County Alabama Fairgrounds Events
If you searched for the Macon County fairgrounds and landed on a page about Illinois or North Carolina, that’s a name collision. Alabama’s Macon County is in the east-central part of the state, with Tuskegee as its only county seat since 1832. We could not find a permanent county fairgrounds or an annual county fair there. This page explains what does exist and where to go.
Is There a Macon County Fairgrounds in Alabama?
Not that we can document. No county fair association, fair board, published fair dates, or exhibitor handbook turned up in our research. A nonprofit directory lists the Macon County Kiwanis Club Scholarship Foundation in Tuskegee Institute as a “county fair” organization founded in 2006. That is a thin listing, and we couldn’t confirm it runs a public fair.
If you know of a fairgrounds we missed, the Extension office below is the most reliable place to confirm it.

This office is the starting point for youth livestock and fair participation. Macon County 4-H members show animals at regional and state events rather than at a home fair. Ask Extension about:
